Our Client is an international solutions provider for the Global Telecommunications and Enterprise technology space (OSS, Network Performance Management, Applications Performance Monitoring, etc. etc.).


Role Overview: We are looking to recruit a Sales Director with international sales experience working with International Mobile Network operators throughout Southern Europe (particular focus on France, Italy, Spain & Portugal). This role will be Hybrid in nature and will also hold responsibility for Key Account activities with Orange group & Vodafone op co’s as part of his/her focus.


Role Focus: This is a commercial role! We are looking for someone that can work with both existing accounts such as Orange, Vodafone, as well as drive new business sales. This is an existing and experience company with resource to utilise but is very much a consultative, value based sales environment – sales based on business value and return on investment (ROI)


Accountability and Scope: This individual will report to the VP Sales EMEA and will be required to have significant interaction and consultation with customers and must have a solid understanding of the sales cycle and working with the International Sales & Presales teams throughout the process.


The desired candidate will be multi-lingual in English (mandatory) & French with at least one other international language; will be degree (or equivalent) educated and will have a minimum of 7-10 years’ relevant commercial experience.


This is not a global accounts role, this is a territory role but large international Mobile (Global) accounts will be key customers.


Desired Background & Experience:

  • Minimum of 7-10+ years working in Sales &/or Management within the desired territories and within the Telecommunications software space.
  • Deep knowledge of telecommunication carriers within the region and Channels to market within the Network Equipment vendor / System Integrator markets within those territories.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills (bi-lingual local languages & English ideal).
  • Advanced teamwork, collaboration and negotiation skills
  • Successful track record in negotiating $multi-million contracts and deals as well as achieving and over-achieving regional revenue quotas ($2-5 million pa +).
