Our client is… a Global Provider of Big Data Analytics & Insights Solutions to Mobile Telco Carriers.


Their focus is very much on performance management & measurement as well as Real-World customer experience. It’s a young company, profitable and very much within a high-growth phase (operating with Mobile carriers throughout 20 countries currently)!


Role Overview: With the expansion of their commercial activities, and success, across APAC..., we now need to hire in a Sales Director to take ownership of their sales activities in South East Asia and to develop that region further.


Currently this is not a team-ownership function but given that their engagement is primarily with the c-suite at Mobile Service Providers... we need someone that has the level of experience and track record dealing at such a level as well as the drive to create and win new business and the desire to join a young, vibrant, growing company.


As Sales Director SE Asia you will be responsible for:

  • Driving Sales Engagements (existing & new business) and in-person meetings with senior representatives from CMO/CRO organisations of Mobile operators across South East Asia
  • Create and Execute Regional Go-To-Market plan in conjunction with the Senior Management of the Business
  • Driving consultative discussions with executive decision makers and budget holders
  • Build strong relationships with customers and peers, contributing to execution of the company growth strategy.


Minimum skills required:

  • 10+ years of experience in Senior Sales roles in the mobile telecoms industry.
  • Solid track record of sales execution to Mobile Operators across SE Asia
  • Comfortable to travel internationally with potential for frequent shorter duration trips.
  • A winning can-do attitude driven by desire to drive successful results through innovation and close customer engagement.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate to c-suite executives in prospective customer organisations.


Highly desired experience:

  • Previous experience promoting business support/intelligence solutions such as data/analysis, SAAS based Business Intelligence, sales enablement solutions, etc. to Mobile Operators.
  • Knowledge of consultative sales approach and familiarity with best practice sales process.
  • Experience of working for small/medium fast-paced technology companies with good understanding of the unique challenges associated with realising global ambitions with limited resources.
