Location:                               France Remote – flexible on specific location given international nature of role… but dependent on experience and track record

Reporting to                         VP International Sales

Position Purpose                  The role is to drive our clients international relationship, & sales, with one of there key international CSP Customers – specifically FT / France Telecom / Orange.


                                                This is a senior role working with multiple stake-holders and multiple op-co’s all the way up to SVP & CxO level. Exceptional communication skills, solid track record of sales into International Telecommunications Service Providers and a solid international track record of sales into FT / Orange /France Telecom and International Op Co’s is required!


Snapshot of Essential Duties and Accountabilities will include such things as:

  • Develop a strategic account plan to deliver sales targets with international op’co’s
  • Build long term partnerships with the customer
  • Negotiate deals directly with central and/or local Procurement including detailed pricing strategies and contract drafting.
  • Work closely with Systems Engineering to identify and scope opportunities and to deliver technical and roadmap updates and RFx responses
  • Lead a cross-functional matrix team through focused planning and communication through the successful execution of the sales cycle
  • Identify, qualify and close new and upsell sales opportunities to generate sales revenues that meet or exceed assigned goals

Skills and Competency Requirements:

  • Hunter & Farmer skills (maintain & upsell as well as net new)
  • Hands-on Individual contributor profile with demonstrated a willingness to take action on problems or opportunities without encouragement
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve or exceed aggressive growth targets.
  • Confident in own abilities and judgment.
  • A thorough understanding of the telecommunications industry; challenges faced by operators and associated opportunities to provide solutions.
  • Must be willing to travel internationally as necessary.
