Our Client in not NOKIA.

What they are is an international Software Company (some 650 people or so) that happens to work with and sell through Nokia. Nokia is by no means there only route to market as they sell directly into International Telco Service Providers round the world, as well as other partners (e.g. Microsoft, Google etc.) … but Nokia is one of their largest international partner/resellers and this role is about taking ownership of that relationship, @ HQ level and in the field, and maintaining/driving/growing this relationship with Nokia into there International Telco Service Provider customer base.

Space:                    SW into 5G Infrastructure & Data Management 

Role purpose:       Drive Sales through Nokia field sales organisation as well as drive the HQ relationship between our client & Nokia. This is an international role and whilst team leadership skills will be needed… this is a role that does not come with a direct head-count. It really is a Senior Level Individual Contributor role where the individual will utilise and potentially direct matrix resources where/if appropriate.

This is also an existing relationship, as such whilst “hunter” skills are always highly desirable and required… this is primarily a “farmer” type opportunity. 

Desired Experience:

  • Clearly looking for someone with Sales/Channels experience within the International Telecommunications Space, perhaps coming from 5G Infrastructure Software, OSS/BSS, IMS, Subscriber Data (SDM), Telco Cloud OR even Network Infrastructure / Security but clearly commercial experience of selling software / Solutions destined for Telco Carrier Service Providers (CSP’s). Telco Vertical Experience is a must!!!!
  • Roles wise: This person will have come from Key / Global Accounts OR Channels/Alliances roles in the past. This person must have track record working with/selling to very large, complex, accounts or International Channel / Reseller Partners – selling into Telco’s/ CSP’s.
  • Nokia experience is highly desired! Either working for Nokia OR Managing Nokia as an Account or Partner/Reseller would be a massive advantage!
  • Revenue achievement/Quota achievement experience in the USD X million or USD XX million
