APAC Sales Director (OEM) Embedded Security

The business is a market leader in threat intelligence, with the majority of revenue generated through embedded solutions and OEM partnerships. Its technologies are deployed across telecom, networking, government, and law enforcement sectors.

Role Overview

The APAC Sales Director is responsible for driving revenue growth across the Asia-Pacific region, with particular focus on Taiwan and Southeast Asia, for an embedded security software portfolio.

The role focuses on selling DPI-based cybersecurity solutions to network equipment manufacturers, solution vendors, and system integrators, primarily through OEM and embedded and indirect sales models. The position is supported by dedicated pre-sales engineering resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies and territory plans across APAC, including Taiwan and Southeast Asia
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle, including qualification, POCs, pricing, and OEM contract negotiations
  • Identify, develop, and manage OEM and embedded partnerships
  • Build and maintain senior-level customer relationships across the region
  • Close deals and secure orders in line with revenue targets
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting and reporting
  • Monitor market trends and competitive activity

Key Objective

  • Achieve annual and quarterly sales targets

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years’ experience in sales, pre-sales, or related roles
  • Proven experience in OEM and/or indirect sales models
  • Background selling technical networking and/or cybersecurity solutions
  • Experience working in an international, APAC-focused role, with exposure to Taiwan and/or Southeast Asia

Skills & Competencies

  • Results-driven with strong commercial focus
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated and able to operate independently
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluent English required; additional languages beneficial
  • Willingness to travel within APAC
