Description
Title: Senior Solutions Architect – Cloud/BSS
Location: NORAM (US or Canada remote), preference for Pacific/Central time zones
Our Client global provider of cloud-native BSS (Billing, Charging etc.) Software Solutions for Telco Service Providers.
We are looking to recruit a Senior Solutions Architect with background in Charging, BSS & Cloud (preferably GCP experience) to work with Telco carrier customers.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of BSS systems, as well as experience in designing and transferring applications to the cloud.
This role is a client-facing.
Key Responsibilities
Collect, Analyse and Review the Business Requirements Specifications and use cases for customer requirements.
Design and implement complex cloud solutions
Collaborate with development teams (onshore and offshore) to define cloud-native application architectures and best practices.
Lead and participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and mentorship for engineering teams.
Troubleshoot (log’s/traces) and resolve cloud infrastructure and application issues.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Excellent communication, reporting and interpersonal skills within the English Language (verbal and Written)
Desired Background:
University educated is a preference: engineering or IT/telecoms preferred.
3-5 years of experience in cloud-based transformation programs
10 years + of experience in any of OSS/BSS system such as Oracle, Amdocs, CSG, Ericsson (EMM), Nokia/Comptel as well as understanding of Telecom Protocols
Thorough knowledge of OSS/BSS solutions and telecom business processes is a must
Familiar with TMF API
