Title: Vice President, International Sales – Defence / Telco / Security

Location: UK (Remote)

A global, scaling software vendor operating within the Government, Telecommunications and Intelligence markets is looking to appoint a Vice President of International Sales to lead its commercial organisation across EMEA, APAC, the Middle East and other international regions.

This is a senior leadership role within a business investing heavily in international expansion.

The successful individual will lead an established international sales organisation (currently generating $25M+ in regional revenues), and we're ideally looking for someone who is a genuine player / coach. This is a growing team that needs a firm hand on the tiller—someone who leads from the front, enjoys getting involved in strategic opportunities and has a proven track record of building and scaling international software sales organisations.

We're looking for someone with:

  • A proven background leading international enterprise software sales teams.
  • Experience selling into Government, Defence, Law Enforcement, Intelligence and/or Public Safety organisations.
  • A strong understanding of telecommunications operators and complex enterprise software sales.
  • Experience working with government procurement processes, system integrators and strategic partner ecosystems.
  • A track record of building, mentoring and developing high-performing international sales teams.
  • The ability to engage at executive level whilst remaining close to major customer opportunities.
  • We'd love to find someone who has helped scale a growing software business—someone who's comfortable building teams, adapting to change and helping shape an organisation through its next phase of international growth.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Leading international sales across EMEA, APAC, the Middle East and other international regions.
  • Driving revenue growth through both direct sales and regional sales teams.
  • Coaching and supporting teams on strategic opportunities.
  • Developing channel and strategic partner relationships.
  • Building regional sales capability as the business continues to scale.
  • Working closely with executive leadership to shape and execute the international growth strategy.

Backgrounds likely to translate well include:

Enterprise Software, Telecommunications, Cyber Security, Intelligence, Defence Technology, Communications, Network Infrastructure and other mission-critical software environments.

Ideal Profile

A commercially minded international sales leader who enjoys building teams as much as winning business. Someone equally comfortable developing strategy, leading people and helping close complex enterprise software opportunities.
